How do I start the process?

Click on the “Sign Up” tab or click the "Get Started" icon at the top right of your screen.  From there you will see just how easy it is to start the process and how quickly we can set you up in our system.

What is the Approval Process?

The approval process entails corporate review of your application package which includes but is not limited to research of your background, work history and references.

What type of Support does Sloan Mortgage Group offer?

100%.  Our support of our team members is unparalleled in our industry and can be confirmed by anyone that currently operates in our system!

How and when do I get paid?

We pay DAILY! Sloan Mortgage Group, Inc. will pay you within 24 hours of receiving your closed file.  Your file will be administrated by our compliance staff and your funds will then be released.

Can I do business in more than just my home state?

Yes! You can choose to do business in any and all of the states in which Sloan Mortgage Group, Inc. is currently licensed or has the ability to process loans. If individual loan officer education and licensing is required to do business in a particular state, all fees and licensing requirements associated with obtaining such licensing will be the responsibility of the individual broker, loan officer or branch manager.

Do I need to establish a commercial office space in order to operate as a member of Sloan Mortgage Group?

No.  You can operate from your home or a commercial office space.

Does Sloan Mortgage Group, Inc. handle the processing of my loans?

Your Choice.  We do offer In House Processing but you will have the option to either process your loans yourself or to utilize our processing services. We are always available to answer any questions on this issue at (866) 297-6549.

How will I get the latest rate information and company updates?

You will have the option of receiving rate sheets vie email directly from each lender or you can access rates through specific lender’s websites.  We also have an easily accessible online database where all rate sheets are stored as well as a "Product & Pricing" Feature that is available through Encompass.

Will I be allowed to use the Sloan Mortgage Group, Inc. logo in my advertising?

Yes! You will be provided with all of these resources upon approval.

Who pays my licensing fees and expenses?

Each of our Branch Members is responsible for all fees associated with performing mortgage loans. This includes but is not limited to all costs for originating loans, securing appropriate licenses and maintaining education requirements (as required), credit reports, appraisal charges, and any other 3rd Party expenses associated with any loan application whether closed or denied.

If I have existing relationships with lenders that are not in the Sloan Mortgage Group database, will I be able to work with them?

Yes!  We are committed to continuously expanding our lender database to best serve you and the relationships that you have already established! 

Will I be able to continue to use my existing Account Executives?

Yes!  Our goal is to do everything possible to ensure your success.  So, if you have established relationships with existing AEs, we will gladly allow you to continue those relationships.
